Wow, that was fun! I appreciate that there's no music, just quiet ambient sound (even though it seems like mainly stock sounds).

Makes me want to go back, and I was just there a couple months ago.

I appreciated the silence in Les Catacombes.

Reminded me of trying to see all of Paris in one day. Dizzying. In the end, all you remember is that Louvre is the place with a thousand people selfie sticking in front of the Mona Lisa. The video is quite beautiful, though.

I really like the concept and the idea. I do wish there wasn't quite so much "and here's the Eiffel Tower again" though.

Well, that's kind of what being in Paris feels like.

The city of Paris recently put up another one on Facebook that's pretty: Timelapse from the Tour Saint Jacques (a Gothic flamboyant tower that's not far from Notre Dame, roughly city center).

The wipe from the catacombs back aboveground was a nice touch. I have a soft spot for touristy Paris videos.

I could have watched another hour of this.

Another hyper-lapse of Paris from Geoff Tompkinson: Postcards from Paris (Old and New). No hyper-zoom in that one.

If you want hyper-lapse and hyper-zoom, though, Geoff's y'man - as evidenced by his film HyperZooming through Hallstatt. BTS, interviews and other HyperZoom videos on his website (Geoff Tomkinson Previously).

The saturation button really should come with a warning label.

For a different belle ville, here's 3 minutes of Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire.
