My brother-in-law put "Funky Nassau" on a mix for me years and years ago and it's a song that just wormed its way into steady rotation - so funky, so groovy, so so good.

I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of these albums!

One of my Pandora stations regularly includes this style of Bahamian music (and also other post-colonial funk from around the world). The song "Gonna Build a Nation" by Cyril Ferguson has entered my regular playlist.
