Pretty, but it makes me sad to see books get butchered.

Having worked in a charity bookshop and seen 90% of donations go out the back door in bin-bags, it makes me happy to see these books get butchered but still live on as interesting new entities of communication.

Me in a nutshell: Hate seeing books destroyed, but love seeing things that are trash bound get turned into art.

Having worked at a library where tons of books were dumped into landfill, this is much much preferred. Also pretty cool; especially the snowy trees one. Just beautiful. Ain't nothing wrong with books as objects; that is a beautiful thing.
