A story of war, intrigue and small, soft brown breasts

Denis Jensen is an Australian member of parliament from the right of the right-wing Liberal Party. When he's not sitting on Parliament's Joint Standing Committee on defence and foreign affairs, questioning the existence of climate change, or denouncing Aboriginal activists as racists, he writes erotic fiction about Indonesia going to war with Australia.

The novel in question, The Sky Warriors, concerns a war between Australia and Indonesia, with some Chinese involvement, after a psychotic military dictator takes power in Indonesia and annexes Papua New Guinea; though a subplot of the novel is the steamy relationship between the dictator and his young mistress, which are described in steamy detail, with attention lingering on the mistress's “small, soft brown breasts” and the “silky complexion” of her skin. Jensen has been trying to sell the novel, written under a pseudonym, to publishers since 2004, at one time writing a letter to a publisher on Parliamentary letterhead.

Needless to say, not everybody is satisfied that this is appropriate behaviour for a member of the defence and foreign affairs committee.

There needs to be a page on Wikipedia about horrible "erotic" fiction written by people with power and influence. We've already had Bill O'Reilly, Lynne Cheney, Scooter Libby...who else? I'm sure there has to be at least one slashfic writer in Congress. There surely must be one in a state legislature somewhere.
