That is very long.

uh-eeee-maaail. I can never tire of the sound of HSR saying "eeeemail."

That said, there's no way I could take thirty minutes of Marzipan's answering machine, not in a row. I've since reached that age, I guess. If the Bros Chaps come up with any more 5-min gems, then send me an uh-eeee-maaail.

Wow. Things have taken a turn for the dark in Free Country, USA. Stay strong, Coach Z.

Marzipan's Answering Machine was the first piece of media I remember that really illustrated what it must be like to be the only girl in a group of nerds. So torturous.

Wait... the Poopsmith speaks here? But when he spoke (actually, sang) before, his voice was that of one of the Johns of They Might Be Giants.... and he sounds a bit familiar here....

Yeah, I'm about 99.99% sure it's John Linnell.

When the thing is an embedded youtube video, you can't constantly press the tab key, hoping that the hidden link will highlight in yellow so you can click on it before it goes away.

Coach Z lost his jorb job at the pharmacy. Cut him some slack.

I've been thinking... Have I been limiting myself all this time? By smithing poop?

Confirmed, it's John Linnell.

So, speaking about the Coach Z sub-plot — him being someone with a Wisconsin accent, ostracized by most folks in Free Country, being accused of a crime he didn't commit, and spending years in prison and communicating with the outside world through phone calls.

Am I the only one that was reminded of Steven Avery in the Netflix documentary, Making a Murder?

Blinking photographs into the profile pics... of history!

My life would have been far less rich, and far more productive, if there were no Strongbad. That it continues to exist is both fantastic and frightening.

Also, I'm a big fan of radio art; hoever, the visuals seem unusually silly. The world needs a strongbad podcast. Sitting a headphone's length from a computer to listen to this for half an hour is absurd. Is this part of the joke? If so, I don't get it.

Also, I'm sad there was no Albert Fish reference buried in this show. And I'm sad that campussafety.gov doesn't exist.

I can do the most amazing Strongbad impression. I think my children believe it is my real voice. Seriously.

I am delighted by this, but there is also something very melancholy about it.

What have the Brothers Chaps been doing with their time that they aren't doing as much Homestar Runner? Besides the Disney YouTube series Two More Eggs (which is of a very similar level of weird/funny), one of them wrote for The Aquabats and Gravity Falls!

Someone on reddit was kind enough to edit and remaster "Phoning This One In" with the backing vocals.
