This has got to be the funniest thing I've ever seen from from a President. How in the world did they get all of those people to do this and what in the hell was it for? There was no trailer on the end. Is it just a ad released to circulate among the populace to repair the lagacy of a disgraced President?

It was for the White House Press Club dinner. They always do wacky stuff- but that's the nuttiest thing I've ever seen a president do... for the dinner, anyway.

I love the fact that Stewart (Stuart?) makes a cameo to satirize the Ameritrade ad. It's also amusing to imagine our president sitting around, watching laundry swirl around the machine, and gettting frustrated with a vending machine. I'll gladly remeber this movie instead of "I didn't inhale" or "I did not have sexual relations with that woman".

There was a thread on this last week, the day after it happened, with plenty of good info there.

(Not that the QuickTime being hosted by AdCritic wasn't worth a mention. :)

Yeah. the Spacey and Stewart cameos were golden, but so was helen (the veteren of the white house press corps) and all of the others.

Sorry Matt. I missed the previous post. Oops!

Yeah, it was almost certainly written by Leno's people (Jay was the headliner this year). The President generally says something humorous and self-effacing at the lectern, but this is definitely a topper.
