The music video was WTF but I really enjoyed the traditional Korean meal and the Buddhist temple videos. The monk has a Samsung phone AND an iPhone!

One thing Music Box has shown me is that, per capita, there are more blondes in Korea than in Sweden.

Is there anyone else better at both being exasperated and making other people exasperated than Conan?

Stephen Yeun is delightful :)

This is awesome.

If you enjoy Korean-based comedy with Steven Yeun, you should check out "What's Eating Steven Yeun?" where he goes to Korea and tries to become a Mokbang (voyeuristic eating, I guess I'd describe it) star. Also featuring Sandara Park of 2NE1.

That is not the Korea I knew in 1950.

Conan's Rock Star Airport Reception In Korea

The beginning of the clip explains why he went to Korea (and also why there's a large box of snacks on his desk at the beginning of the "Fire" video).

We are thankful for that.

So, Postroad is a Korean War vet.

I love this video! Steven Yeun is pretty much the best no matter what, and I particularly enjoy perplexed psychadellic transformation Conan.

I love that this thread has more comments than GnR getting back together.

Not as good as Jack Black on Muhan Dojeon.

The DMZ segment was pretty funny but also like kind of stressful. Like I thought there was a non-zero chance that the DPRK would storm the building to kidnap some westerners, or some other kind of international incident.

It's striking how much different Conan looks with that eye makeup. I think he should keep it.

I really like Conan's travelogue stuff. I could see him doing a ~7 episode miniseries based solely around that.

I'm sure they played it up for laughs, but I kinda love that Yeun is no expert. "What's in this?" "Oh...Whatever my mom put in it? I don't know!" REALISTIC.

Will Conan interview Kim Jong Un in North Korea with Jordan Schlansky translating, because of course Schlansky speaks fluent in Korean. Or was that a movie?

Potato salad continues to be a banchan mainstay, even in Korea itself! YIS Long live potato salad banchan!
