The bear doesn't panic or climb a tree to flee. It stands its ground.

What does a bear in yellowstone do all day? For the first time, trek into the wild backcountry of America's first national park and see what it looks like from a bear's point of view. Special cameras were attached to the tracking collars of two grizzlies and two black bears in Yellowstone...Tag along as National Geographic gives you an unprecedented window into some of the most fearsome predators on Earth. Watch as these bears act as tour guides through their secret world, with little human intervention.

I would venture that they shit in the woods, among other things...

So, getting past the inevitable "shit in the woods" jokes, I was scrolling through and wondering if they'd show the video if a bear attacked a camper, when I got to 05, which shows the bear munching on the carcass of another bear. Mmm mmm good! And the following one is the bear facing down a pack of wolves. Shit is getting real, yo.

I love bears. But getting them to do the web design for the mobile version of that website, whilst admirable, is perhaps beyond the capabilities of the average bear. Anyone who could pull out the video links would be doing the world a favour...

This is me absolutely not referring in any way to Timothy Treadwell or Werner Herzog.

There was a similar project in Alaska or Canada a few years ago and I remember one of those beats killed and ate another bear too. Bears don't make good friends, apparently, at least not hungry bears.

It was probably Canada because I think they showed the video clip of the actual attack in the article .
