Misplaced.Design Eleven New York City landmarks have been misplaced, their current location unknown. Photographs of unclear origin appear to show them scattered across the globe – on sand dunes, mud flats, “lunar” plains, and rocky beaches. Nobody knows exactly what happened or why

The IAC building bugs me so much because it just looks like nonsense from almost every perspective in the city proper. It only presents that organized facade to the river. It's a building that's made to be seen by the West Side Highway and helicopters.

Oh my God. I'm back. I'm home. All the time, it was... We finally really did it. You Maniacs! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell!

Okay, okay, nobody panic. I just talked to my sister in New York and those things are all still there. Well, all the ones she checked before she hung up on me.

There's nothing to see here. These pictures are fakes! Don't give these trolls the attention they crave.

This is *delightful*.

I spent a season working in an office with a view of the Chrysler Building, and loved how it changed color in each different quality of light. Of course it would go and choose a misty moor to escape to. Of course.

Nah. It's just Carmen's gang up to their old tricks. With enough clever gumshoes who know their geography, we can find and return them to their proper locations.
