you think it's over but it's not. spent last week doing carpentry while the electrician's helper was singing along to nü metal playing on his bluetooth speaker. with the internet, nothing is ever over.

One man's nu-metal is another man's roots music. We're now at a point (20 years since the release of the first Limp Bizkit album!) where basically any metal, regardless of its classic-ness or nu-ness, is all equally "old" to anyone under 20.
(Why yes, I am turning 40 within the next year, and I've decided to deal with it by pointing out how super-old everybody's cultural milestones are.)
