Yogi Horse? No, Yogi Bear.

No thank you. My horse just told me he prefers being brushed while standing on all four hooves.

It's not yoga. It's a technique to tame the horse without violence. That is what the narrator says in the video

Breathtaking, indeed, given that a horse's lungs and circulatory system don't work properly when lying on its back.

It's a technique to tame the horse without violence.

but does that explain the romantic guitar music and the shirtless dude with the muscles ? unless "tame the horse" means something different...

It's a technique to tame the horse without violence.

Yup. The truth behind the mesmerizing video from Yoga Dork.

While watching this horse yoga, I secretly wanted the horse to buck and go "get off me you idiot." I don't know if that makes me an animal lover or just another jerk.

I feel like I'm probably on A List now for watching that.

That was quite impressive, and vicariously relaxing (though given the comments I'm not sure if it's actually relaxing for the horse). The way the horse's legs scissor out from a slight push especially. It reminded me of this corgi massage.

I've had horses my whole life and honestly most horses will do anything for food and/ or belly rubs. People like to think horses are these dignified noble creatures but they're not at all. They'll totally lay on their backs with all four feet in the air for two carrots and an ear skritchy. They are stupidly easy to clicker train to do dumb tricks to, because.. food? So while this looks pretty stupid I don't think the horse is being abused or anything. He looks fat and sassy and the laying down and playing dead is a super easy trick that lots of people teach for fun.

"He looks fat and sassy and the laying down and playing dead is a super easy trick that lots of people teach for fun."

I've been trying to let this go, but I really can't. You think you're defending that horse by saying he's fat and sassy and laying down and playing dead is a super easy trick that lots of people teach for fun, but try hearing that about yourself almost every day. It gets old.

I mean, just yesterday I was outside getting my mail and my neighbor called over to me, "you're fat and sassy and the laying down and playing dead is a super easy trick that lots of people teach for fun" and I slowly turned to look at her and was all like :o and she looked back and was like o.O.

Then this morning I was in line at the grocery check-out line with two people behind me and one said to the other, "he sure is fat and sassy and the laying down and playing dead is a super easy trick that lots of people teach for fun" and I just lost it. I threw my food down onto the floor and yelled at them that they were garbage people and they looked at me and raised their eyebrows and AGAIN WITH THE EYEBROWS THING I don't even know what that means why do people do that.

I guess it could be a compliment, but I'm pretty sure that people are making fun of me. Probably the horse feels the same way. And nobody taught me that trick, I figured it out all by myself.
