A recent ban by a Welsh town council leads us to consider the general decline in this traditional children's puppet show. Are Punch and Judy on their way out the political correctness and appropriate to this enlightened era door? Will they follow the gollywog out the nursery, or be welcomed back, like Enid Blyton?
