When I was a child, probably 9 or 10 or so, my best friend Lori and I spent a whole summer trying to construct a miniature circus / fair out of a combination of paper plates, the flimsy yellow paper typists used for drafts, bits of string and craft glue. Our carousel turned if you held the base steady and turned the drinking draw that stuck out of the top of it. We had a swing ride and stages and a ring toss game, too.

This is the dream my 9-year-old self was trying to achieve.

Interesting video but god I hate the twee soundtrack. I'm sick to death of that type of guitar, mandolin(?), etc. music that ALL sounds the same and ruins any video/movie/commercial, whatever that it's in. I picture the flannel shirt wearing, bearded, fixie riding, notebook carrying, band you've never heard of listening to hipster who creates music like this. Ack.....
