I gather that the title of the piece, '>exit', is itself a reference to suicide. Thanks for posting this.

What am I missing, it seems to be a prose poem using the iconography of the interactive fiction folks.

that seems like an accurate description.

i felt some of it worked and some didn't - the missing vowels, the "eye", and i don't think "any" means "all".
