I don't know, but Wolverine: Adamantium Rage was rad.

The overlay of the Tempa-T acapella is really, really good.

Since I'm old and the article didn't provide and help, I had to do the googling myself:

This is awesome. That beat is SO GOOD.

I'll take any opportunity to share this, however tenuous - here's a video compiling the musical inspirations for Streets of Rage 2, track-by-track

I saw this come up on Twitter and put it aside to read later and post and ha ha beaten to it.

Also tenuous but check out all the places the Gameboy Robocop theme turned up.

And this beat is sick as fuck. What a good find and a cool story:
This soundtrack was a chance to put all of that stuff together, but the thing is that I had such a small amount of sample space. When we were making drum n bass tunes we had 2 or 3MB to work with, but the video game company only gave us 200KB. I mean, I’ve sent emails that are bigger than that. It’s a mind-bogglingly small amount of space considering I had to do all the voice samples, all the sound effects and all the tunes. I basically sampled an orchestral stab and the bass, a hi hat, snare, a few things like that, then I had to trim them down to minute sizes. ...

When I was doing [this track] I wasn’t thinking of hip hop, I was definitely thinking about hardcore, where we’d take reggae music, put it over hip hop beats and speed it up to 140bpm and riff from there.

He says "We made a tune called Mash Dem Down which is still on Discogs for about £100, and people still go fucking nuts for that tune," and I thought "not very humble, is he?" but then I checked it out and man, that tune is right up my fucking alley.

"It turns out that kids absolutely love jungle and drum n bass, they go mad for it."

Oh, man, I'd love to see this. Unfortunately, at age 10 my older son is too old for kids raves, and he considers DnB "cleaning music" because it's the music I put on when I do heavy house cleaning.

I was totally going to make a huge grime post after reading about this earlier this morning but compiling all the links using just my phone proved daunting so I went back to sleep :3

I went to a family-friendly festival last year where Dylan Beale and Iain Baker (the Jesus Jones keyboardist mentioned in the article) were playing. It was great! My kids (then 5 and 2) were less keen on drum and bass but went berserk for acid house - Voodoo Ray came on and they both just rushed onto the dance floor.
