The Big Lebowski: "What makes a man, Mr. Lebowski?"

The Dude: "Dude."

The Big Lebowski: "Huh?"

The Dude: "Uhh... I don't know sir."

The Big Lebowski: "Is it being prepared to do the right thing, whatever the cost? Isn't that what makes a man?"

The Dude: "Hmmm... Sure, that and a pair of testicles."

RIP, Mr. Huddleston. You were one heck of a funny man. Thanks for the great movies!

> Blazing Saddles authentic frontier gibberish
"Not only was it authentic frontier gibberish, it expressed a courage little seen in this day and age. What are we made of? Our fathers came across the prairie. Fought Indians, fought drought, fought locusts, fought Dicks. Remember when Richard Dicks came in here and tried to take over this town? Well we didn't give up then and by gum, we're not gonna give up now."

This man was my narrative string among the Cohen Bros. films. He never had the most prominent roles, but the ones he had were rich in the delight of his acting.

You may be thinking of Charles Durning, who was in The Hudsucker Proxy and O Brother, Where Art Thou? and passed away in 2012. I've always wondered if The Big Lebowski was written with Durning in mind, but I can't imagine anyone but Mr. Huddleston in the role.

Also, Franks estranged business partner from a Sunny Phily Christmas. I was just looking up because I could swear he was in some other Coen Bros. movies, but apparently not.

Always liked seeing him show up.
