"Hey, Mary, we got about three minutes to cover. Can you vamp?"
"Say no more, fam."

My God. I love her.

This reminds me of the Sports Night episode where they had like four hours of live coverage blocked off to cover a prize fight that ended with a first round knockout like 30 seconds in. Lot of time to fill and nothing going on.

"Dan Rydell: We'll have more with Chuck 'The Cut Man' Kimmel coming up in just a moment, but for now: I'm Dan Rydell alongside Casey McCall, and if you're still watching, please give us a call and tell us why..."

I don't know if I've seen this on the blue before but I don't care. This video should get posted every four years. I put this video in front of as many eyes as I can every time the Olympics rolls around. I love it.

By the seventh shot, THIS thing is up in the tree..."

Besides, why do you think it's called BADminton and not GOODminton?

Somebody needs to take the audio, and animate the heck out of this. I'm thinking claymation.

I'm just surprised she got through that 3-minute rant without Charlie Brown's kite ending up in that tree.

Anything that makes people care about badminton is okay with me! It deserves WAY more than the 4 am online streaming only slot NBC gives it. I mean, it's the second most popular sport in the world, and the most bad ass. OH! And they had a "cheating" scandal at the last olympics!

I coached a high school badminton team for three years. I had never played when I took the job. It was the best sport. I still miss it.

Aw man, now I wanna go play badminton and then croquet.

There's a damn biathlon for ya.

Also, I remember at another Winter Olympics Carillo watching the (now defunct) compulsory dance with Scott Hamilton. The exact same thing x however many couples.

Mary Carillo is my favorite Olympics coverage person. She'd be so much better than Bob effin' Costas. (Or Seacrest, or Trautwig, or...)
