bowling noir! exactly what it sounds like. i found this while googling for a succinct definition of film noir, and this was too funny to resist. dig the altered picture of rita hayworth and the music clip, man.

That was cool, pxe2000. I always figured that bowling had the potential to have the same seedy underside that pool does, and this proves it. I also recall that Richard Price's excellent first novel The Wanderers has a chapter featuring a couple of shady bowling hustlers and assault by bowling ball, just to further the theme.

LINK-O-THE-DAY. dam fine work...bowling...it fits too. Billy Durant, after losing GM, wound up running bowling ally here in Flint, had an idea to make these huge complexes, where families could go and have fun...reverse noir.
