The Great Blog-Off is coming- so far 8 bloggers will be madly competing for 24 hours to find the best links on the web on an as-yet-unknown topic. A lesson in futility or potentially dirty, self-absorbed fun? Discuss amongst yourselves.

I don't have time to discuss amongst myself. I'm in the first round, starting tonight at Midnight EST. And the last I've heard, Neale is still accepting nitwits - I mean - volunteers to fill out the field of 8. Come on, baylink! It could keep you out of trouble on MeFi for at least 24 hours...

Yeah, I think it's needle marks. But frankly, I don't care; I'm just going to do my thing, use all the good ideas I can come up with in the first few hours, then sit back, watch him take his inevitable low-ball shots and rely on the good will of the Weblogging community to see me through. I'm doomed.
