Nicky Siano is an iconic disco DJ credited with being the first person to beat match successive songs. He was a founder of seminal disco club, The Gallery. Here is 4+ hours of his Last Party playlist, from his 60th birthday bash.

I was bummed to miss him when he played here some years back. The guy is one of the major historical DJs for sure, up there with Mancuso, Gibbons, and Levan, not to mention Herc and Flash.

FYI: it's not a playlist, but mp3s of the mix.

Nice post, will be listening to this today!

OMG Nicky Siano. I also strongly recommend that everyone listen to this podcast he put out a couple of years ago, if only for the spoken-word bits where he throws shade at pretty much everything/everyone: http://www.nickysiano.com/thenickysianopodcast/thenickysianopodcast97_10_17_14.mp3

Interesting side note, his party was held at the Eldorado Bumper Cars at Coney Island. When I was a little kid my first exposure to disco music was there. I don't recall if they had a live DJ or if they just played a tape but I always thought it was an inspired choice to have dance music blaring while you crashed your bumper car into complete strangers.
