First 2016 Pres. Debate Closes In

With the first 2016 presidential debate only a few hours away, the two participating candidates appear nearly matched in the polls -- a slight lead for Clinton. Trump is expected to fling insults; the Clinton campaign wants to knock Trump off his stride. For all the hype, history says the performances may not even matter. Stein says she will be present at Hofstra Univ. to protest and participate on social media. The Johnson campaign will have him at a Twitter office in Manhattan doing much of the same. Unregistered voters can get information about registration from the U.S. Vote Foundation (for many states, registration ends mid-October).

This post was deleted for the following reason: Heya, I appreciate the effort here but we're gonna hold off on a debates-centric post until much closer to the actual scheduled air time; there's some discussion about it here on MetaTalk. -- cortex
