Playing Lynch is “a collaborative meditation on the work of David Lynch”.
Practically, it’s a site hosted by Square Space that lets you buy an album of David Lynch soundtrack covers with a donation to the David Lynch foundation
Best-of-the-web-ly, it's a collection of David Lynch scenes where said music was employed, with the signal characters reenacted by John Malkovich.

Each scene is part of a twenty-minute short film, Psychogenic Fugue, directed by Sandro. (Trailer)

Huh, I never knew David Lynch had a foundation. Yet. somehow, an institute devoted to bringing transcendental meditation to populations faced with insufficient social support networks and high levels of background dysfunction is precisely what I would have imagined it was.

Robert Blake's Mystery Man is tough to imitate.

Yeah, I love Lynch, but I'm not particularly motivated to (indirectly) give money to that particular cultish scam.

Oh - I missed one. There’s also footage of John Malkovich playing David Lynch as he meditates.

I just assumed there'd be a jump-scare to the man behind the restaurant mid way.

Made even more creepy after Baretta's later legal troubles.

Well, this is just supremely weird.

It’s worth remembering that Squarespace also hosts this oddball Jeff Bridges album / project, so I think they’ve definitely trying to curate the idea that it’s a good place for weird arty stuff.
