"Productivity" is a shit currency to pin your personal sense of happiness or self-worth to, honestly.

These weird intro paragraphs paraphrasing the songs are killing me, I love them, e.g.:

"Good morning. Wake up. On this day you become legendary. Do anything you dream of. Look how far you’ve come. Hustlers, get on down."

That one happened to be right next to the promoted content "35 Killer Quotes From the Stars of Shark Tank"

I care very little about what some random "successful" white guys think will be my most successful wake-up.

The best wake-up song is Daft Punk's "Overture" from the Tron: Legacy soundtrack. Even if your alarm app doesn't do a slow-volume-up, the initial horns kick in very quietly and the first 90 seconds is a slow crescendo. I can't wake up to anything else, and my husband's "pleasant chime" app is bullshit.

I'm not seeing Katrina and the Waves, so that list is clearly invalid.

This list is nonsense. All ten spots ought to be filled by Harry Nilsson's "Gotta Get Up!" because that's the only correct answer.

Oh, I don't know, I'm partial to The Sneetches myself. That's more in line with most mornings; at least until the coffee is ready.

There is only one song to ensure a perfect day: Jac Berrocal and Vince Taylor's 'Rock n Roll Station.

You're welcome.

The best wake-up song is Daft Punk's "Overture" from the Tron: Legacy soundtrack.

It should not unnerve me so much, if this indeed the best song to wake up to, that I am not the only one who has discovered this. But it's still weird. It's not the only thing I've ever used--I tend to alternate periodically or I sometimes start being able to sleep through them--but it's seriously paced exactly right for the purpose.

Ooh! I bet ELP doing "Fanfare For The Common Man" would be an awesome wakeup! The earlier you get the synths and insane drum fills into your bloodstream, the better.

"The Hero!! Set Fire to the Furious Fist" - A good way to get the system ready for 100 pushups ...

I'd go with Sonny & Cher's "I got you, babe" - stuff productive, head-wrecking is much better...

I'm pretty sure the intern in charge of clickbait at Entrepreneur magazine didn't watch the entirety of the (excellent) Sia/Kendrick video. The elegy for the Orlando Pulse victims and the commentary on the limits of our freedom are not especially motivating for another day of capitalist hustle.
