Very Rude, Very Unsafe For Work, But Charming And Just About OK For Friday Night...Perhaps! Whatever: There's still no excuse for this kind of thing. It's number one E-mail forwardista in Portugal and 9 out of 10 female Iberian bloggers recommend it. So please don't click if you're a prude or dislike pseudo-country music. Is all I'm saying...[Shockwave required]

That was beautiful, Miguel.

Thank God I have a beer for my tears.

Jack Black is going to come to portugal and personally kick your ass for calling him "pseudo-country", Miguel. Consider yerself warned.

Hehe, just kidding. I do think the Tenacious D joke has worn a little thin, but their videos, including this one, are pretty killer:
see em all here

I'm partial to "Wonder Boy" as well.

Ya gotta love Tenacious D.
Okay, you don't. But I do.
And by the way, that was a fun little video. I think it's time to go to bed now . . .

Serves me right for having my volume turned up high (was listening to Blur live).

I agree with malphigian, that Jack Black is getting ever so slightly stale.

Never were truer words spoken. Really though, it was their promo for the Osbournes on MTV that made me want to strangle Jack Black.

He's too cool for my liking...

I would have enjoyed it better if it hadn't cut out halfway through every fifteenth whole note.

What is so goddamn hard about a load script? When you have content that only works if it's contiguous?

dhartung: view it off the "via a webpage" link from my post above, thats from tenaciousd's official site, and it has a load page.

Here's the Spanish site - perhaps too EuprOnean for American tastes - from whence the little film emerged and conquered our Peninsula. A testament to transatlantic tastes. Nay, dhartung: almost a commitment to NATO culture. ;)

That has got to be the most endearing, sweet, adorable, gross piece a crap Shockwave thing I've seen in awhile. It's what Radiskull & Devil Doll wanted to be but couldn't. Very good call, Miguel.

Worst. Post. Ever.

I mean, if that's all it takes to make it in Portugal, I'm packing my valise and buyin' a ticket.

Seriously, Jack Black makes me shudder.

evanizer, say it ain't so. One of my best freinds siad that I reminded her of a skinny version of Jack Black's charcter in High Fidelity. Trust me, the man is way past cool.

Ease up evanizer, it's not the worst post ever. I kind of dug it.

"Watch this - I'm going to sell five albums."

* cues music, can't make it play over everybody's speakers *

Oh well - whatever you do, just go get som Beta Band (Dry the Rain) for your poor self.

Is that really what people consider pseudo-country music?

The version linked directly off Tenacious D's site has the girl topless. The version Miguel linked has the girl wearing some kind of bra/top. WTF!?

Can somebody walk me through that thought processes? It's OK to simulate a sex act. It's OK to bust out rhymes like I'm going to fuck her completely. It's OK to show the girl sucking a crab-laden public hair out of the guy's mouth, but we can't possibly show a cartoon nipple. Quick paint a top on that girl.

For the record, this video was animated by the same guy who created Ren & Stimpy, though his name escapes me presently.

danelope: dunno if it was any individual person, but it was these guys.

For all intents and purposes, Spumco = John Kricfalusi, the creator of Ren & Stimpy.

Are you the same Miguel who objected to the user name that looked like boobs because you found it embarrassing to type? You've certainly come a long way. If you even are that Miguel. I'm going to be watching you very closely from now on.

tell me, which is more offensive:

( . )( . ),
(o)(o) or

( . )( . )?

And how is :-) not offensive?? I'd rather see ( . )( . )s on mefi than 8===>s, certainly not ones being serviced.

Doesn't the one angel look strikingly similar to the actor Jack Black from Orange County and from Shallow Hal?

You're almost more funny than the cartoon itself banished.

Que ella mas hembra... (.)(.) o (o)(o)?
