Awesome day hike to a cave near Los Angeles! Do you have a craving for some caving? Then you should check out The Cave of Munits. Located in El Escorpion Canyon Park, a three-acre park located in the Simi Hills of the western San Fernando Valley, in the West Hills district of Los Angeles, California. Legends say that The Cave of Munits was home to a Native American shaman who would perform Solstice rituals in the cave. It is a relatively easy hike, only 3 miles round trip and 700' elevation gain. The perfect beginner day hike adventure!
