Find my phone, the documentary

In 2015, Anthony van der Meer had his phone stolen. He thought about the feeling of a stranger having access to all his photos, emails, and messages, and wondered what kind of person did this. He decided to do an experiment in return. He set up a decoy phone loaded with software that allowed him to remotely control it, and made a documentary Find My Phone about the thief, using the information he gathered from their life. Running time 22 minutes.
