This post was deleted for the following reason: This is worrying as heck but let's please not do the race-to-the-goal-line TMZ thing if we can help it, wait till there's some more info and less skeezy sources and think about a post then. -- cortex

I'm surprisingly bothered by this Carrie Fisher situation. I hope we hear good news soon.

I am beginning to feel the rush of the terrible news of 2016 is actually incredibly destructive to health, especially in their older years. It's starting to feel like a lot of people just don't want to be here anymore.

If i were a celebrity I'd rent a fully stocked bunker and hire a personal physician to stay by my side 24/7 until the new year.

Is anyone going to survive to see 2017?

I'd been worried about Harrison Ford all year. Telling myself, "2016, just don't take Han Solo. Don't take Han Solo." Carrie Fisher was so much younger than Ford, that it didn't occur to me to worry about her at all. This is just terrible.

She's still really young (60 ain't that old these days). She should recover.

Carrie's also had a pretty hard life. Drugs and alcohol and bipolar disorder and Paul Simon... [joke] Her health hasn't been that solid for quite a while, I don't think. Wishful Drinking was wonderful to watch, but you could also clearly see deterioration had taken place.
