Looks more like hockey.

Big Unicycle doesn't want you to know that a recent study found that 87 out of 91 former players were diagnosed with chronic shin ouchies (CSO.)

Don't the wheels get rusty?

I was also about to come in and say it looks like street hockey with a wheel. I noticed that most of the other videos call it unicycle hockey, though there are some others with unicycle polo? Is there some sort of schism in the ranks of unicycle ball knocking around? Is it class driven? Because we can probably get some mileage out of that in here.

I'd like to see them play the ancient version, where the balls were the heads of enemies, and the unicycles were fashioned from the bleached bones of fallen foes.

Not to be outdone, unicycle football. I have a friend whose daughter is on a team. Here's the UFL official website.

Unicycle hockey is pretty popular, there are leagues and rules and everything. Never heard of unicycle polo before!

I would totally do this if I could wear this as my uniform.

Oh shit. Waddup?

And how do they get horses to ride unicycles?

Yeah, no. This is unicycle hockey. In unicycle polo, the unicycles are ridden by horses.

As one who played (poorly) this sport as an undergraduate in the 90's, it's definitely unicycle hockey or "uni-hockey". The hockey sticks are the giveaway.

First thing I thought of, "what happens when I shove my stick in his spokes?".

Yeah, aren't those hockey sticks? If it was polo, they'd be using little mallets, right? And there'd be more gin and braying.

And there'd be more gin and braying.

Yes. Those upper crust English riders do indeed have an obnoxious laugh.

Your unicyclists were so preoccupied with whether they could that they didn't stop to ask if they should.
