I give it 5 out of 5 Ellens! (Awesome musical instrument reviews)

Ellen Angelico is a multi-instrumentalist/"utility player" in Nashville TN. She also does hilarious reviews of musical instruments and vintage clothing for sale at Fanny's House of Music. For those who like music, musical instruments, quirky personalities, have shopped in a music store, worked in a music store, or even just looked at weird vintage stuff.

Some highlight episodes of her reviews on Ellen's Favorite Thing at Fanny's of the Week:
The Broman

Elka Rhapsody

Tomsline ABY Pedal

Doubleneck MultiKord Pedal Steel

Waterman Ukulele

yeah! I meant to add she's a wicked talented musician as well - just casually letting rip with super fast chicken pickin' guitar, etc. And she can sing too! I think she's just the best.

She kind of reminds me of a young... Ellen. Very funny and entertaining.

This was great! Re the Elka Rhapsody, country pickers tend to have a pretty low tolerances for "horrible sounds," but nobody's perfect. :)

Ha, love her.
Totally going to that store if I'm every in Nashville.

She doesn't seem nearly as odd as she seems to think she is. She seems cool as hell.

HA these are great. Nice video curation- I was gently sucked in and then the UKELELE VIDEO is probably one of my new favourite things. "so, this is happening" and then the staff reactions (about 2 minutes in) - "oh hi guys!"

I also like this one: Univox 'Lectra "Beatle" Bass Review. The holiday gift guide also got a chuckle.

Yay this is a perfect 'pick me up' in a rough week.

Well, whaddaya know. Between Ellen here and Justin Johnson, I think I might need to visit Nashville some day. Which is something I never thought I'd say. Thanks for the post!

This is super.

PS: Have massive inappropriate crush now. (I am 45. She is 12.)

(Don't be embarrassed. It is not just you. I was trying to avoid admitting it publicly. Also, you and I are of an age.)

Apparently no one caught the epistonyrical nature of this post, as she trials some truly frightening heels without heels, that I suspect would terrify even diehard submissives.

Is there one in which she explains the apparent contradiction between her profession as a multi-instrumentalist musician and the terrible cheese—some might call it 'music' —theme?

I think I read on her website that she likes to record comedic country songs, so I think we can assume the theme music for Ellen's Favorite Thing At Fanny's Of The Week was written with tongue firmly in cheek. I mean, for god's sake, she calls the show Ellen's Favorite Thing At Fanny's Of The Week.

Except for the gift-giving guide, which is called Fanny's House of Music Ellen's Favorite Thing at Fanny's Of The Week Holiday Gift Guide 2016. It drives me nuts that she can deliver those lines (the closer is good too, "Tune in next week when I have another favorite thing") with a straight face every time. Nuts in a good way, even though I'm not her type.

Wow, from this slightly blurry iphone camera distance, she and I bear an uncanny resemblance to each other in appearance. And lemme tell you, watching your far more charming, musically talented doppelganger play around with cool shit in a music store is weirdly compelling.
