Dutch comedian Arjen Lubach has made a short video welcoming Trump to the Netherlands in Trump's own style . The introduction to the video is in Dutch with subtitles; the video itself is in English.
Can a country pick a higher number if the numbers below are still in the game? I.e. could Baden-Württemberg take its turn now and say it's eighth while the slots three to seven haven't been taken yet?

This is very good. As an aside, after watching, I had to research the stunningly racist blackface spectacle of "Zwarte Piet"- wasn't aware of it at all. (And I get it- it's a product of a densely layered folk mythology and part of the shared cultural history of the Netherlands. But - good grief - that fact far from excuses the bigotry and objectification embedded within the mythos, culture and history.)

Bob Regular, Zwarte Piet is a regular giant argument every year. And there's no excuse for it. I say that as an adopted Dutch person.

I laughed so hard at this, it's really spot on. Until the bit about Jetta Klijnsma (the politician). Ironic mocking of disabled people is still mocking, I really wish they had left that part out.

I didn't like the 'silly walks' reference, but I perceived the bit about Klijnsma not as mocking, but bringing the point that Trump isn't 'just' a delusional narcissist (though horrible enough), but a mean bully as well.
Apparently Klijnsma's response to the video was "Great. Simply fantastic. Best video ever!".

Exactly, the Dutch don't pull punches or mince words. If they're making a point, they are upfront about it. They don't have the PC filter that makes the joke seem a bit off from an American point of view.
This is one of the things I finds so endearing about this country of giants.
