If You Ain't Got The Time You Don't Do The Crime. A mere 11 months after Robert (Barretta) Blake's wife was killed under mysterious circumstances, Blake is arrested for her murder. Anyone got Johnny Cochrane's cell phone number?

guess he is. Barretta was based primarily on The career of David Toma. Ive met and talked to Toma a few times. He (Toma) is one of the few people on this planet whom i fear and respect. The man is amazing. bullets, knives, the mob, spies, corrupt kops, did not stop him. My Point?, well I'm not sure, perhaps that art is nothing like real life. Blake does not have a fraction of the humanity that Toma or others for that matter have. or i could blame David Lynch.

I was watching CNN and the guest they had on said that Blake and another person were being arrested. The other guy is someone who had served as Blake's bodyguard from time to time.

Supposedly the LAPD was set to arrest Blake this morning while his 3-year-old child (by Bakley) was away from the house but the kid was kept home for some reason.

Sorry, but when I think of Robert Blake, all I can think of is this. *Shudder*
"In the east ... the far east, when a person is sentenced to death, they're sent to a place where they can't escape, never knowing when an executioner will step up behind them and fire a bullet into the back of their head... It's been a pleasure talking to you."

for those keen on reading another take on this (sorry, no link), James Ellroy wrote an article about the murder in last month's GQ (tobey mcguire on the cover).

i'll always love Blake for Electra-Glide in Blue.

Bobby Blake wouldn't have done this, but Perry Smith certainly would have. As a matter of fact, so would John List. Bowline, you nailed it!

LAPD Sgt. Starsky stated, "It's pretty simple, we just kept our eye on the sparrow." PI James Rockford and Chief Ironside aided in the investigation.
