Ahh. A gooooood dog. Right up there in importance with a good lover. Hope the wife doesn't come across this.

Hm, I'm not a member of FB either but I don't see a banner. Sorry about that. The "with captions" link should work, though (and is somehow even cuter).

I always am amazed at how dogs learn words and are able to associate them with objects. Their simple joy over mundane things is pretty amazing, too.

Ok, show of hands, who else went into this post expecting it to have been a Johnny Wallflower post?

(To be explicit, the comparison is meant to be complimentary, and in no way implies that other MeFites haven't also made wonderful posts of that stripe themselves, as this post clearly illustrates.)

Every time I see a video like this I am reminded my dog, cute as she is, can barely identify her dinner from a sock.

Apparently, dogs can learn up to 500 words! Cats, 50. But I think it's because cats realize they don't need more than that to control us, rather than their smaller brain size.

By the time the guy gets to collar, Ziggy is like, "Ask me for the collar! You're wasting walkies time, and I know this routine." spin, spin, spin.

Ziggy's awesome.

My Hannah did not like having a leash attached to her collar, but she was fine with holding the loop while I carried the end with the clip. Thank god she did not insist that I wear it attached to a collar.

If youtube had been around back then, I bet she would have collected all the "likes" she deserved for being such a very good dog.
