So cute! I would wonder about cadmium and lead, and if the resin is enough to keep those contained.

There was a shop that used to robots similar to these In the Lama Temple Hutong in beijing, but they had movable joints. Always regretted not getting one.

If these are from mass manufactured devices, they probably used lead free soldier, which is the bane of the hobbyist but is required for RoHS certification. The components look to be relatively inert. The capacitors are mostly plastic film and ceramic types (a few electrolytics here and there), and the resistors are just carbon. I don't think there would be any cadmium, as I don't see any NiCd cells (or any cells for that matter), which have pretty much fallen out of favor anyway.
