Stop the presses – an actual YouTube comment that made me laugh: "They ‘kilt’ it!!" True enough.
Wonder if any of the boys still hang out together (or still show off drumming) six years later.

I die.

Srsly. Marching bandish type drums (no marching required) makes me irrationally happy.

I have seen this before, but I am not disappointed to have seen it again. It's a tight performance.

Decent!

('up next' was 'Top Secret Drum Core' which is both more and a little more than I had expected. No offense, but the Swiss are not moderate in their devotion to (creepily Calvinist) precision)

There's quite a bit of selection bias there, your average small village fasnacht drummer isn't sent to the tattoo.

I like them using one another's sticks as the percussion instruments for a couple of beats around the 1:25 mark. Nothing makes me happier than this sort of thing, where are bunch of performers suddenly becomes a team rather than a mess of individuals. You see the same thing maybe thirty seconds into this Stomp clip.

Seems like a poor man's version of this.

Our mancub is the section leader for percussion in his school band. I can't wait to show the drum line kids this video after practice. (They've probably seen it. I'm apparently so old that I can't find the cool things on the internets before the kids have already watched it enough times they're already bored with it.)

I hereby declare that this thread is now a place to dump your best drumline routine links so I can continue to rock out for the rest of the afternoon.

I have such a soft spot for earnest high school talent show acts that are legitimately good while also making me laugh. This did not disappoint.

Top Secret Drum Core - things start getting a little strange halfway through.

My ear kept wanting to hear the "Mortal Kombat!!!" bit from this 'classic'.
