The Hague's buildings in Mondrian's iconic colors Many buildings in The Hague are using Mondrian's blue-yellow-red-white color scheme to celebrate the art movement's 100th anniversary. I hope they keep it up; it looks great.

We've recently gotten an oversized (like, REALLY oversized) version of Rietveld's "The Red and Blue Chair" in the city center of Utrecht, plus a noticeable uptick in the number of tourists standing awkwardly around the Rietveld Schröder House trying to get a picture without any other tourists in it.

I have mixed feelings about Mondrian, but it's still pretty badass to just call your movement "The Style."

I've loved Mondrian since I was a kid; these are ear-to-ear grin inducing!

I´m amazed Richard Meier hasn´t objected yet that the town hall building he designed (first piccy in TFA) contains non-white elements now.

There´s an exposition in the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague, which was designed by Berlage who is also considered to be more-or-less part of De Stijl.
