Skateboarding on Frozen Sand

"Ice, driftwood, foamy waves and skateboards? Four skaters head north to the cold Norwegian coast, applying their urban skills to a wild canvas of beach flotsam, frozen sand and pastel skies. The result is a beautiful mashup — biting winds and short days, ollies and a frozen miniramp."

Film project site and documentary. Director Jørn Nyseth Ranum's previous film on surfing in Norway: North of the Sun.

That was pretty. I'm curious how they managed to make the half-pipe, get it frozen that solid, and film their bits between high and low tide. Not curious enough to pay $7 to watch the documentary, though.

In some passages, they remind me of crows or ravens, just fooling around. Pretty, pretty, city boys get a double dose.
