I love how little kids can notice things that adults overlook. I remember clearly when my daughter was a toddler and saw The Puppet Johns in the facade of an old building.

This is why people have kids. Yes, there's dirty diapers, staying up all night with fevers, getting vomited on, shuttling them all over town, losing all your friends, never having sex with your spouse again, hundreds of thousands of dollars over 18 years, endless fights over who stole whose toys, a million boo-boos that need a kiss and a bandaid...
Then one day your kid says "I wuv you wobot" and you realize it was all...well, it was probably a wash in the end...but you savor these moments and hey, you helped the species survive.
