G4TV, a new cable network fully devoted to video gaming launched today. The network is the baby of Comcast and is run by a heavy hitter exec team led by Charles Hirschhorn, a former Disney animation head. Is the world ready for video gaming 24 hours a day? I am.

Dang. And I searched for G4TV too.
Mea Culpa.

You probably know this already, but G4TV is the place where TV's Wil Wheaton works his day job. His show is "Arena."
I don't get G4TV, but I wish I did, just for the hell of it.

Sure, why not breed another few million bags of mashed potatoes who, like so many others in the past, will invariably sit on the couch and try in vain to convince anyone within earshot that video games are (snicker) educational.

Remember when kids used to play sports and stuff? I do. Then Nintendo happened. Video games have played a huge part in the degredation of, what, two generations now by requiring absolutely no mental prowess at all outside of what is required to make "jabby" motions with one's thumbs. Can you believe that we used to read, too? Recreationally, even! Sorry for the shock there.

No, no, let me guess... I'm a troll, right?
