Lisa Spoonauer best known as Caitlin Bree in Kevin Smith's directorial debut Clerks has passed away at age 44 of unspecified causes. Tributes from Smith and others are online.

I don't know how much of the costume design of Caitlin Bree was Spoonauer's work, but wow, do I know a lot of people born in the early '80s with deep erotic attachments to that suspenders-and-puffy-shoulders look (both from the inside and the outside).

Smith makes it sound like she was happy. I'm glad for that.
