The "Dog Photographer Of The Year" competition, an annual contest organized by the UK-based animal welfare organization The Kennel Club, has announced its winners, and unsurprisingly the winning photos are chock full of very good dogs.

"Dog Photographer Of The Year"

I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

Kidding aside these dogs are great, especially Yzma, but especially Mosey.

Those are some fantastic photos. They are indeed good dogs. I'm a cat person, but those dogs look so nice I'd probably even pet them when no one was looking. High praise indeed.

"Kelly in her spot" beautifully captures that snoozing-old-dog quality.

I love that there are 2 winning photos featuring greyhounds. They are tailor made to tug at your heartstrings with their long snoots and emo eyes. That little grey-faced girl, Megan? AHHHH my HEART.

I call my greyhound my Emo Dog all the time because he just always looks sad or concerned or like he feels the weight of the world, despite being a dog with nothing (aside from thunderstorms) to worry about.
