Our family used to own a hotel in the Niagara region of Ontario Canada. This one autumn, we had a turkey that sort of hung around the hotel and made his rounds in the middle of the night. I worked night audit and as I made my rounds to make sure that everything in the hotel was quiet and safe and sound, so did "Ed". He was pretty chill.

“I just feel like he made me slow down and appreciate something unique for while we had him. That was unbelievable and lovely.”

Also, I love the bird call sounds of turkeys. I just love that little gobble gobble. It's delightful to me.

On reading the post here (before the actual article), I thought this was going to be some sort of Trump euphemism/parody. (Thanks for the post....)

“That seems to be the new hobby of people is to become polarized. And that’s exactly what’s happened here,” said Larry Hoxey, a 54-year-old pastor at a church in nearby Wyandotte, Michigan.
Smartest thing I've read on & about the internet in a long time…

Wow, this is actually pretty sweet.

This is also a nicer story than Downtown Tom, may he rest wherever the hell he ended up.
