Your very own pub in your garden Do I have to say anything more? I don't think so.

Oh man, I so want to get me one of these. Maybe I could convince my wife it's a special gardening shed.

Judas H Priest, you can't even go in the back yard now without seeing an Irish theme pub these days.

I prefer my boudoir bar.

It is an Irish site, though, vbfg, so not technically 'themed'.

A couple of years ago while planning a trip to Ireland, I came across a number of companies and individuals who specialize in this. It was rather surprising. To name a few...

The Irish Pub Company.

The garden pub does add a new wrinkle however.

There is however, a seedier side that I will not discuss further.

I see the attraction, but the thing reeks of recorded diddly-diddly music, and 8000 euros would buy me at least a month's worth of real Guinness in a real pub.

I'm building my own strip club. So far, my Mom and my Sis are the only two dancers I've hired.

My club stinks.

What an odd coincidence. Last weekend, I was walking through Oak Bay, a anglophile neighbourhood here in Victoria, and saw an honest-to-goodness garden pub. It wasn't prefab like this one though. It looked like they'd converted an old outbuilding: dark wood and wavy glass windows. About the size of a small shed. Hmm, knowing the real estate market here, they could subdivide and sell the shed as a $300,000 home. Er, or without all the rambling: I seen one, I seen one!
