Here are some otters playing in a river, and three going round in a pool, and here is one playing like a dog. Elsewhere, a young otter tries to sleep on mom because otters like their sleep quite a lot. Otters have their own language and like talking to each other, sometimes quite loudly. Finally, a baby otter is introduced to water. [MetaOtter thread]

(Minor derail: I sat through a lot more otter videos than those listed in this post, but quite a few were ruined by an adult shouting things like LOOK AT THE LOVELY OTTER ISN'T THE OTTER CUTE LOOK AT IT at glass-shattering volume right next to the microphone of whatever they were recording it on. Ah, humans and their sometimes lack of self-awareness in the moment.)

You never see beavers doing any of this nonsense, which is why they get so much work done.

Hardy, the Vancouver Aquarium's rescue baby otter, has an extremely adorable live cam that follows him as he splashes around in his little pool, rests in his pen, eats ice cubes, and is tended to by his caretakers.

MORE BIG OTTER NEWS!!!

I really thought your link would have something to do with this town.

I drove through it once and saw no otters, of unusual size or otherwise. Deeply disappointing.

I want to pet them all and shake their little hands! I love otters--and really all the fuzzies--so much!
