10 years later, 2007's The Polyphonic Spree: The Fragile Army 12 tracks
I saw them once in concert. I really did not like the vibe of the main dude.

Context: "10 years later"...
This is... less helpful than you appear to think it is.

Why the confusion? Album is celebrating a tenth anniversary, fact is noted here. Not confusing.

So white, so anthem-y and, at points, so glam!
I'm enjoying it, thanks!

Tim(lead singer) is a crazy guy but I don't remember anything sinister about him or any rumors. Hung out a lot during the Tripping Daisy days, and was always impressed by him.
Loved some of the polyphonic stuff and the shows were always great.

This is taking me back to the lower Greenville Dallas days in the 1990's. What a trip...

Polyphonic Spree is responsible for one of my favorite things to ever appear on the web:

Wow what a blast from the past regarding the quest for the rest. Wasted time at work long ago with it, and now here I am again.
The Spree was always a good time and loved seeing their Shows.

Back when going to ACL Fest seemed like the best way to not be pissed off that ACL was making my life difficult, I saw them. It must have been 2003. They are one of the top ten bands that I enjoyed seeing there. I think I only ever really enjoyed about 20, but the PS were an accidental discovery of the fest and that made them extra sweet.
Thanks for the share, hippybear. That made the last hour quite bearable!
