The best part of the newspaper can be the police log, if it's well-written. But Kevin Hoover of the Arcata Eye takes this to extremes. "7:44 a.m. More gas price numbers disappeared overnight. What some special someone is going to do with two more big plastic "9/10" signs is not known." (link via The Obscure Store)

About a year ago there was a report in the Palo Alto Daily News that said the police got a call about someone finding a baby in a dumpster.
It ended up just being an un-eaten burrito.
