I loved "the Loony bin trip" and it also scared the crap out of me how she was committed. Rest in peace Kate.

She attended a screening of 3 women at anthology 15-odd years ago and stopped it a third of the way through so she could smoke.

My experience has been that most psychiatrists are assholes(the ones I encountered were all male) and that lithium is a shit drug (one of the aforementioned put me on it even after bloodwork proved that i didn't have the chemical imbalance) but I hope that she was able to find peace.
