For me, Dwarf Fortress is like Eve in that I don't really play either, but I love to listen to the crazy stories of people who do. I can't decide if my favorite of these is "5117: Teeth latch on seperately" or "8308: Strange interactions between trees and bridges".

It's so wonderful, I can't stop going back and back in time. The fact that even though these are bug reports that were written by people they seem (no doubt because of the content they're replying to) as if they might themselves be procedurally generated is just *mwah*.

This is even better than the computer generated name thing there's been a lot of lately, and I enjoy those. This is more like story starter sentences for fantasy novels I'd want to read.
