I doubt the Taliban and Al-Qaida would just arrest US soldiers. They would pretty much dispatch them immediately. Sounds like very creative wishful thinking on the part of Taliban/Al-Qaida supporters.

Not to mention that the etymology of the term "snipe hunt" seems rather suspcious. Makes you wonder if the Pentagon disinformation campaign was cancelled only because the Brits were willing to take it over.

If this truly is a snipe hunt, then who is being deceived? Is it the public left holding the "snipe bag?"
