Just a defacto "Nope". "Refugees" from the US seeking asylum in Canada will no longer have any hoops to jump through. The hoops are to be replaced by impenatrable legal barriers, otherwise known as "inking the deal".

Great! Now the next time some git goes on about Canada being the "conscience of their neighbors to the south", we can tell firmly tell 'em the shut the hell up!

LAME. Canada needs to grow some balls, how are people going to flee the oppressive regime of the US now!?

(the most notable example I can think of is a guy who got sued by the Church of $centology for making 'terroristic threats' in a joke on a Usenet group that CoS members wern't even allowed to visit... and the judge agreed that all of the context was irrelevant)

Oh, well, even though I'm technically "4-F" (to use a old term), now I'll just have to run off to Tahiti in case of a war....
