It's a lovely weekday morning in the village and you are a horrible goose in an upcoming game from House House, the makers of Push Me Pull You.

I actually meant to directly link the video in the post instead of going to the game page. I mean, it's just one click difference, but in case you want to see the video in MeFi's player, here.

omg why is this literally the best thing ever, from the goose's tidily handwritten mischief list to the animation to "press x to honk"

*HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS*

This is very cool. I'm hissing for no reason. Just like a goose.

You're a goose. Isn't the horrible implied?

I live by a pond. Can you tell?

"Metal Goose Solid 7: Escape from Foie Gras"

stole that from reddit, was too good to pass up

What if it's relative? That's a terrifying thought.

for maximum realism "crap all over everything" should really be on the list but I approve anyway A+++ quality goosage

I love the realistic goose reaction whenever the gardener turns his way, fleeing back with wings outspread. Now, do a mashup with Goat Simulator!

Dying. This I would play.

This is cool. *Add to Wishlist*

In other fowl-related gaming: Divinity: Original Sin 2, has a spell where you can turn enemies or yourself into a chicken. So that's also awesome. Basically, more bird-related gaming for everyone. Birds make everything better.

Birds make everything better.

Objection: *gestures vaguely to the existence of geese, as addressed above*

Correction: Birds in VIDEO GAMES make everything better.

Now, do a mashup with Goat Simulator!

That would, truly, be a Capcom vs. Marvel for our time.

I've been thinking, what are the things this game (as seen in the video) does well?
1. The art style. House House seems to have this general Katamari Damacy, Keita Takahashi vibe (more explict in Push Me Pull You, which is basically competitive Noby Noby Boy). That flat shaded, 3D, semi-realistic appearance.
2. The goose is just a goose. It has no special goose powers. Similarly, its mischief is purely goose-level stuff. This isn't a world of epic Goat Simulator shenanigans. Goats are anarchists and want to see the world burn; geese are misanthropists, and have it in for you personally.
3. The music. The right music can make, or break, a game.

If only more games were about rude geese rather than demonic hell-spawned killers

Birds in VIDEO GAMES make everything better.

Somebody's never played Ninja Gaiden.

I was a little disappointed by the key-stealing shenanigans. I wanted to see the goose yelling, harassing everyone, and shitting all over the place.

I know one of the tasks is to have a picnic, but I like how in the beginning of the video, before the game starts, the goose just drops the sandwich into the pond out of what seemed like spite. Just because!

This seems like a fun game.

I love this, not only because I am often a horrible goose, even on my best days, but also I love geeses in general. I do, I really do!

I've watched this trailer like 7 times already. Oh my god, the animation. The cautious neck extension, the waddle, the surprised wing semi-flaps, ugh, it's so amazing and charming. They really captured something there.

This had me in tears from laughing, so I'm not sure I will even be capable of playing it, but I will try.

Basically, more bird-related gaming for everyone.
What completely sold me on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was watching a gameplay video where Link was carrying a cuckoo, and a moblin threw a rock that hit the cuckoo, and the moblin got ganked by cuckoo vengeance.
